Excitement

Hi friends!! I am sorry that this new post is looooong overdue!! I forgot my password and could not get it reset for the longest time!! But alas, I am back!!!
It has been crazy times since my last post!! I am now out of school!! Whoo-hoo!!!! Our last day was a week ago today!! It was a wonderful day! We only had a half day of school, then the parents and teachers surprised me with a baby shower! It was so much fun to have all of the parents (mostly moms) and teachers in the same room! They blessed me with much wisdom, advice, encouragement, laughter and love!! It was a wonderful day!!! I have loved teaching so much, but I am glad the year is done!! I hope to go back to teaching at some point, maybe when it is time to send our kids to Gloria Deo, I will go back to teach there! It is a wonderful school and I highly recommend it!!! But for now, I am so glad the year is over!!
Baby Maddie's room is now painted, we have her bedding in and are just waiting for the chair rail to be hung before we move in her furniture! Her room is so cute!! I can't WAIT to get everything in there and hang stuff on the walls!! I can't wait to put away all of her adorable little clothes! Mostly though, I can't wait to meet her!! I think about her all the time wondering what she will look like and what her personality will be. It is amazing to think that she will be here in less than 11 weeks!! Nine months seems like SO long, surely I can wait 11 more weeks! We are thankful because we feel that Maddie certainly has a wonderful group of "aunts" and "uncles" to hang out with! :):) Praise God for good friends!!
We have been blessed by three baby showers already, all in the same week!! It was a crazy week!! :) (However, we did enjoy some delicious CAKE!!!) We are overwhelmed by the love and thoughtfulness of our friends!! Thank you so much for being excited for us and for being so willing to help us and celebrate with us!! We love you!
This past weekend was an awesome weekend with our Sunday school class!! We had our marriage retreat in Branson!! Angela and Adam were able to get the condos for the weekend and we all spent the weekend together talking and laughing and learning about how to make our marriages better!! It was a great weekend of growth in friendships and our marriages!! We are blessed!!!
I am still working with Griffin, at least until July 1st. Then I will hand him over to my sister as we wait for the arrival of our daughter!! WOW! Exciting times are upon us!! Hope you are all well!!!
