Hello again! Wow, time flies when you are having fun and boy has it been a fun couple of weeks! The ice storm was a bummer, but a blessing in many ways! We were able to entertain some good friends and spend time together all at the same time! Our friends Nick, Katie, and their 3 month old Max, came to spend the weekend with us. What FUN it was to have a baby in the house!! He is such an awesome baby, he smiled and cooed at us all weekend!! He is so cute!! Max and baby Jenkins are going to be best friends!! When our power went off, Katie and I had some really fun conversations, we stayed up until 1:00 a.m. just chatting and dancing around the room (we were starting to go a little crazy:)) ! It is so special to have good friends!
We are now 14 and a half weeks into our pregnancy! We are SO EXCITED!!! Will July ever get here?? I can't wait to see what our baby looks like! I can't wait to meet him or her, to love them and care for them! I know it will change everything, but I think that change will be wonderful, hard at times, but wonderful! YAY!
Even though it wasn't our"plan" to have a baby this year, it is amazing how God is already blessing us through it! It is amazing how God's timing is always perfect, and to see how He is always working in our lives!! I have been spending a lot more time in prayer and time alone with God ever since we found out I was pregnant. I need that time with Him so much, it has already brought about so many changes in my life!! I am SO excited about having a baby, even though at times I am scared to death! Wyatt and I have gotten a lot closer in so many ways! I have an amazing husband and sometimes I forget. I am really trying to tell him how much he means to me every single day! He needs that affirmation as much as anyone! I love you Wyatt! I am richly blessed by you every single day! I have also realized what awesome parents I have! I thank them daily for their faithfulness in Christ, for their unconditional love, and for their patience, kindness, and grace to my sister and I! What a blessing!
I am SO looking forward to these next few weeks and months! They are going to be full of adventures and I can't wait to see how God uses those adventures to teach us and to bless us!
